Not sure what to say?

Trudy was so kind to me when I started undergrad. She and Gina were my across the hall neighbors on 9th floor Stanley. I missed them both so much when they moved with their family to California. Gina, if you´d like, I love to get back in touch. My sincere condolences. Rhonda Puls McCollough

Seeing Trudy's picture this morning brought back so many memories of her and how wonderful she was--always so engaged and interested in what everyone was doing and had to say. We used to meet with a group of residents and friends on Sunday mornings and spend the day together. Trudy was central to that group--she was so fun, and laughed easily and made others laugh as well! She could also be serious and was so caring and a great listener. She loved her family deeply. She was a wonderful...

I was just in Colorado Springs for a week recently and it brought back memories of Trudy. A couple of years after we moved from Colorado in 2000, we went back to visit friends. I had kept in touch with Trudy so I told her I would be in town and would love to have lunch with her. We met for lunch and she treated me like an old friend. What a wonderful lunch we had! She was such a loving and caring person. I wish I had a picture of us to share. You are truly missed, Trudy!

Trudy was so kind to me when I started as a freshman at the University of Iowa in January 1982. Trudy and her sister lived across the hall from me on the 9th floor in Stanley Dorm. I am so, so sad to learn of her passed, and impressed by the life she led and the career she pursued. My fondest memories of Trudy include playing Dungeons and Dragons, eating ramen, and visiting her family restaurant in the Quad Cities. My deep, belated condolences to Gina and all of Trudy's family.

Working as a nurse, I Admired her knowledge her fast response and her professionalism. I always said when my doctor retires, I’m going to go to Dr Trudy Wong. Saddened to hear of her passing!

around 1993, in Iowa City.

To Trudy's Family: I just learned of Trudy's passing. She was a great friend and colleague during residency and after. She even came to visit us once in Richmond, VA. She was so loving and kind and funny and brilliant! We had many wonderful times together in Iowa City and after. I always knew she would be the most wonderful physician to her patients. And she loved her family so deeply and fully. I am so sorry for your loss of this wonderful woman. My heart is so sad for you and for the world....

So sad to hear of the loss of Dr. Trudy Wong. I worked with her for a few years and kept in touch with her for several years after I moved. She was truly a very special person and obviously loved by all that knew her.

Wow, very very sad to just learn of her passing 2 years ago. I echo everyone's sentiment, she was one of a kind that always took her time, showed true compassion and concern for my well-being. She even used dirt she had from China to help with tennis elbow pain. Just back in Colorado and was hoping to see her again.

I moved back to Colorado Springs & looked up the best doctor I've had. . . ever! I broke into tears when I found out she had passed away. What a loss for this city! My heart goes out to all who loved her!
