Not sure what to say?

We certainly hold our loved ones that have passed on in our hearts forever. They continue to be missed no matter how many years pass. The Edwards family has fond memories of Truman.

Our family has many fond memories of Truman (and Betty)! A gentle, compassionate, loving man! He provided a home for us when we were growing up while our Dad, G.K. Edwards managed the Albion, Iowa farm for him. The Edwards family sends our love and sympathy. Marilyn Edwards

Dear Aunt Betty, Trudie, Tracy and extended family,
Our hearts go out to all of you today as we remember Uncle Truman and the deep abiding kindness he showed to all. The many precious memories of our time on your farm and your visits to California are treasures we will always have. Thank you for your many blessings of generosity and friendship as a family. I can't forget the time we flew to Iowa and Dad gave everyone a ride on the plane, and walking through your pig farm and seeing all...

Aunt Betty Trudy and Tracy and families,
Eleanor and I are sorry to hear of Uncle Trumans passing on to his heavenly home. But there is peace and joy to know that he will be free from any pain or suffering as he will enjoy his new life with Christ Jesus. The book of 1 John tells us; that "God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son Jesus. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.
These things I have written to you...

Betty and family, Mac really enjoyed being neighbors to you outside of Gilman. I, Elaine enjoyed visiting with you also. Truman led an interesting life. Glad he got to go to Norway. May you all have comfort in the wonderful memories!! So glad we got to visit him in the last month.

Aunt Betty, Trudie, Tracy, and family,

Uncle Truman was a very strong yet compassionate man who always had great stories to tell. I am so glad that we were able to visit with him during our recent trips home. Spencer speaks of our visit in December often, and I have been able to pass along some of the stories that we were told about how farming used to be compared to today. I will always cherish the memories that I have and pray for peace and healing for each of you in the coming...

I loved all the Meltvedt stories Uncle Truman would tell about our dad Richard Meltvedt and his beautiful smile & laugh

Betty, It's been awhile since I last saw Truman but always enjoyed visiting with him. He always told me he was the same age as my mother, well she was six months older but he always told me that. Also remember his love of Kumla and Lefse and coming to the suppers in Dunbar when he could. Lots of memories and will miss seeing him.

I'll miss Truman at Grandview & later Iowa River Hospice. He lived a long, dedicated life. It was an honor to visit with the family. R.I.P. Truman
