Not sure what to say?

A year on, but still remembered as a player from my youth, a voice in my ear through broadcasts and podcasts, and most importantly a faithful witness to the Christ with Whom you now abide. Still remembered, and still loved.

Mr. Ilkin was truly a man who led by example. He took his post-football years and created a lasting positive impact.

Never had the honor of meeting you Tunch, but your faith, grace, good humor and toughness was an inspiration to me. See you on the other side.

My dear friend from childhood. Tunch, thank you for being the inspiration on bringing me to Jesus. You and Sharon have a special place in my heart and heaven has gained a great ambassador from this earth. Looking forward to the day we will meet again. Rest In Peace. Ergun

I have never met a better man on this earth. You are an inspiration. You said a prayer for me when I needed it most. Thank you

There is so much that could be said about this giant of a man. I´ll never forget the year plus when he took me under his wing and led me spiritually each week which eventually led to the start of the Huddle Groups at the Chapel. Later when I got married and had children he treated them with so much love, they idolized them. We were close and we grieve but not as those who have no hope. We´ll see him again, thank you Jesus. Praying for the family. Love Glenn, Rute, Rebekah and Joshua Pattison.

MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE ENTIRE ILKIN FAMILY, TUNCH WAS A TRUE MAN OF FAITH. HE WILL BE MISSED BUT HIS FAITHFUL LEGACY WILL LIVE ON FOREVER. MY SON, JAKE BOLNICK, IS MARRIED TO TUNCH'S NIECE, SHANNON. TUNCH GAVE A BEAUTIFUL BLESSING AT THEIR WEDDING, I WILL ALWAYS BE INSPIRED BY TUNCH TO BE A BETTER CHRISTIAN WOMAN EVERYDAY.
