Not sure what to say?

My father, W. Bruce James, succeeded Turner White, Jr., as superintendent of Bagnell Dam. Helen White was my godmother. I just googled "Little Turner" and was shocked not only to see his obituary, but to realize that had I done this earlier this summer as I intended, we could have been in touch again. Could Turner (Ivy!)—or some member of the family—please contact me. Judy James Wydick

Mr. Turner White was very helpful to me as a young lawyer. I had the utmost respect for him. Any time he was interested in a public position or an elective office I backed him in anyway I could. He was a great asset to our profession and not soon to be forgotten. He was also a lot of fun. Bert Twibell

Cherished memories of a special friendship will not be forgotten . Margo S. Armstrong

I was a friend of Steve's during our high school days and always enjoyed being at their home and farm. I remember Mr. White as being lots of fun and admired the whole family. With deepest respect, John White

I have known Turner for over 40 years, first as a family friend, then as a colleague in public service. Our community was enriched by his varied contributions.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Dear Steve, Turner, & Susan,
I am so sorry for your loss. You were so blessed to have your dad for so long. I have good memories of him; he was always friendly to us as teenagers. I'll be praying for your family during this difficult time. Sincerely, Janet (Potter) Brazeal
