Capt. Swisher was my captain in 2/2 Easy Company and I was in Iraq when he passed away. He was a great marine, one heck of a family man and father! Sender Fi Marine!!!

Tyler and I became good friends at TBS together. He was the finest young officer I have ever met. We last exchanged emails during his fateful deployment to Iraq while I was in the Horn of Africa, not long before his death. You was my captain in 2/2 Echo company and that day & that security patrol will always be etched in my mind. You and Benny will never be forgotten and I wish I could have done something more but none of us seen the ied beneath that dirt road that tragic day.
