Not sure what to say?

I remember meeting Ty and Cathy at the Fillmore for the Heartbreaker shows. After seeing Roger McGuinn open one show, Presidents of the United States opened the next. We had a conversation about how I wasn't that excited for them. Ty was very calm, and we talked about having an open mind about new bands...about not judging. PUSA came out, and it was a really fun and energetic set. They easily won me over, and I was lucky enough to come home with their set list. His advice is something I...

Butch you have said it so well....thank you for capturing the essence of Ty so beautifully.
I have known Ty and Cathy for many years and have always looked upon them as my second family. Ty was such a wonderful gentle person, who always had kind words and a smile on his lips. It was a great shock to hear he is not with us anymore and won't be there when I visit. I'll always remember Ty fondly - all those visits to the Buffington home, all those adventures at concerts - you'll be greatly...

Butch, you are so right about Ty. I'll always remember his joyful, excited voice at the concerts I attended with him and Cathy (and some with you). It's good to hear from you.

Tyler-Where did all the years go? It seems only yesterday that we roamed the halls of PHHS together and tormented the girls who were unfortunate enough to have lockers next to ours. I remember you and I (along with Duane Alcorn) passing time in Mr. McRae's physics class, trying to pay attention even though our hearts were not in it. I watched four years of basketball from the bench while you hustled your way onto the starting team. Most of all, I marveled at your industy. You held down a...

I will always remember Ty's voice,so spirited, joyful, and young, your right, he was one of the good guy's,and very, very close to my heart..isn't it something, were like flowers that bloom in the day, and later fade away. greatly missed, but never forgotten..the last words i spoke to Ty were, "I Love You!" and he said, I Love you too, "Thank's Ty...

I remember Ty as being one of the "good" guys. He was a friend to everyone and always took the time to listen. He will always be a part of my high school memories. I look forward to someday seeing our high school baseball team play again. My best to Cathy

I had the pleasure of working with Tyler for ten years at Lindsay's/Corporate Express. I have been out of state for the past ten years with my husband's job but even then I missed him and often spoke foundly of our times together. I can still hear him coming into the office with a new joke saying "ha, ha, ha, let's go tell Linda". I felt Tyler was my best friend in those days and always had my back.

I am sure I speak for all of his co-workers; his kindness, friendship and humor...

Tyler, my chilhood brother and best friend. The years and our paths separated us physically but the memories of wiffle ball and hot box in the back yard are close and dear. We gradusted to hard ball and the street and your dad's office window just had to be right down the left field line. How many times did we run for cover after a liner took it out.
Keep a roster spot open on the other side for Don, Bob, Tim, Mike and rest of us because I know there isn't one of us that won't want to...

I had the pleasure of working alongside Tyler during his 10 years selling office products and furnishings. We spent a lot of time together in the field and in the office always getting good advice from him on sales and on life. Ty loved sports and and he enjoyed sharing with his co-workers his knowledge of Bay Area sports history. May you rest in peace Ty and your former co-workers will always miss you.
