Mar 27, 1987 – Feb 2, 2014 (Age 26)
Tyler Alan Holt, 26, of Lemoore, earned his angel wings Sunday, Feb 2nd.
He was born to Cathy and Kevin Holt, March 27, 1987, in Lemoore NAS, Ca. Tyler graduated from Lemoore High School in 2005.
Tyler had an amazing zest for life. He was an incredible dancer and would dance his way into everybody's heart. Tyler took his dancing to a professional level performing in the Fiona Apple video: Paper Bag. He also starred in Disney's Pongo & Perdita Sing Along Video, he was a singer/dancer in both movies Geppetto and Mrs. Santa Claus. Tyler also did many live shows including Reebok, Sketchers, Fox Kids, Power Rangers, and many others. In 1995, at the young age of 8, Tyler was diagnosed with Nuerofibromatosis Type 2. He continued to dance even after the tumors took away his hearing, but his body began to deteriorate and he could no longer pursue his dancing career. Tyler turned to video games to escape the wrath of his daily pain. He couldn't walk, it allowed him to run. He couldn't see, it allowed him to have x-ray vision. He couldn't hear, it allowed him to have super sonic hearing. He found solace in his world of Xbox and enjoyed going to Comic Con in San Diego every year. Tyler touched the hearts of anyone who took the time to know him. He will be greatly missed by anyone blessed to have had Tyler walk through their life.
Tyler is survived by his loving mother Cathy Holt and father Kevin Holt; his sister Brandy Stiles and his brother Justin Gipson; his 5 nephews who he adored: Cody Gipson, Cooper Stiles, Jordan Gipson, Dominick Gipson and Carter Stiles; his aunts: Stephanie Shepperson, Molly Everett, Holly Anderson and Heidi Holt; his uncles: Robert Osenbaugh, Randy Osenbaugh, and Greg Osenbaugh; and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that checks be made out to CTF (Children's Tumor Foundation) for NF2 research in Tyler's name and can be left in a donation box at the services or checks can be mailed to1738 Homestead Way, Lemoore, Ca 93245 and we will send to CTF with Ty's letter.
A memorial service celebrating Tyler's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8th at Lemoore Presbyterian Church.

Cathy your loss of Tyler always pops into my head every time I see one of your posts. I never got the chance to meet either of you, but your strength is amazing. Virtual hugs sent your way x

I remember watching Ty in Disney's Sing Along Songs: Pongo and Perdita. He was one dynamite dancer! I'm so sorry to hear that he had to suffer so much in life because he definitely didn't deserve that. I'm glad that he's in a nicer place now. Tyler, thank you for helping to make my childhood special and I hope to see you when my time comes so I can give you my personal gratitude!

Holding you forever in my heart. <3
Your wings were ready to fly, but my heart was not. I miss you Ty. I will cherish every moment you gave me while you were here on this earth. The love and courage you showed and taught me. I miss our cuddle sessions, tv time, movies, putt putt, dancing together in the kitchen, your silly antics and amazing love. I am so very grateful that you chose me as your Mom. Life wasn't easy for us, but our love was unmatched by anything, and we always made the best of things. You taught me so much and...

I thought I had signed your book Ty but I went through and read the beautiful comments and realized I hadn't. I remember when I heard that you had passed away - as a mom I instantly thought of your mom and how I needed to reach out and support her. You probably were up in heaven sending out messages to all of the people you wanted to be there for your mom. You were a wonderful dancer, your personality just took over when you danced. Anyone could see you were having fun. LDW wouldn't have been...

Cathy - I think you are well aware of how I feel about Ty, and you - he was a brilliance that lit a room. You are a wonderful, care and sensitive Momma....you both were made for each other. I love that Ty communicates with you in his own very creative way, and I love it when you post those tender, sweet moments when you realize Ty is touching your soul.... He is forever wrapped in love with so many people, but none so much as with you. I love and miss him---and don't let anyone tell you how...
