Tyler - one day the pain in my heart and soul will be replaced with a smile - for all the joy you brought to me, and everyone you came in contact with during your life. I love you like you were my son - but watching your parents and your brother grieve breaks my heart -till we meet again, Tyler -All my love, Aunt Merrylee, Royal, Arkansas

Van & Carla,

I was in North Carolina at my daughter, Jane's, wedding when I heard about Tyler. I think she and Tyler were the same age and it struck me hard to envision the possibility of losing her. I know there is nothing I can say or do to ease your pain but you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Only nature has a right to grieve perpetually, for she only is innocent. Soon the ice will melt, and the blackbirds sing along the river which he frequented, as pleasantly as ever. The same everlasting serenity will appear in this face of God, and we will not be sorrowful, if he is not

-- Henry David Thoreau (upon the death of his brother)

I miss Tyler, but I am grateful to have known him while he was alive.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family and...

Carla & Van,

My family and I are sorry to hear about your loss. I'm so happy I had the chance to babysit him for 5 years. He was considered as one of our family. I think of him often and have many happy memories of Tyler. He'll always be in my heart and part of our family.
In the spring we will be planting a tree in memory of Tyler.
Love Marge Johnson

Mr. and Mrs.Meeker,
My prayers go out to you and your family. Tyler will be missed by everyone he ever met.

Tyler,
Mr. Adventure, you were a turning point in my life, a bright spot in my heart.
You impacted my life more than I can say; you brought happiness wherever you traveled, to whom ever you visited.
It was an honor to be your friend, to share all that you had to offer.
To grow because of what was shining through you.
An essence of life, that I cannot image having lived without.
You will be in my heart for all time. I love you, and I will miss you.

Carla and Van,
I'm so sorry to learn of your loss.
I pray for peace and comfort for you and your family.
