Tyneshia Jacobs Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 9, 2019.
Tyneshia Reneé Jacobs, beloved daughter, sister and friend was the youngest child of Sharon Thomas Jacobs and Bruce C. Jacobs. She was born November 4, 1988 in Austin, Texas and lived a fulfilling life in her short years.
She was enrolled in the Pflugerville Independent School District and a 2007 graduate of Hendrickson High School. During her academic career she was involved in basketball, track, L.O.V.E. and the step team. She volunteered in the community and participated in Top Teens of America Incorporated where she also served as the local chapter president and attended multiple leadership conferences and workshops. Upon graduation, Tyneshia moved to Houston, Texas where she attended the University of Houston – Downtown Campus.
Tyneshia professed her love for Christ at a young age and was baptized at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Round Rock, Texas. As a member of Good Hope she served on the usher board, participated with the youth choir, and often attended Sunday School. She also sang songs of praise with her family as a member of the Sunbeams.
As an adult, Tyneshia acquired a passion for bowling which she enjoyed with her dear and special friend Kason Thompson. She delighted in going on walks and hikes with her beloved dog Mary Jane, writing poetry, and spending countless hours with her friends and family whom she often put first. She loved cooking from scratch, which she learned from her mother at a young age and she was always willing to lend a helping hand, which mimicked her father.
Tyneshia's caring nature was infectious, welcoming, and well-received. She was a hard worker with an entrepreneurial spirit. She was loving and compassionate and had a smile that could light up a room. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Tyneshia departed this earth on December 7, 2019 after a 31-year battle with chronic asthma.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, uncle, and several cousins. Her memory will be cherished by her parents, Sharon and Bruce C. Jacobs of Pflugerville, TX; siblings, Bruce Jr. (Peyton) of Cypress, TX , Tamra Grigsby (Ian) of Manor, TX , Trekeshelia Powell (Jason) of Fredricksburg, VA; nephew Christopher and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family and Kason. I didn't know Tyneshia long, but what I do know is that she was a bright light in our office. I am saddened that I will not get to know her better. Her smile greeted me each day as I came into the office, and she always had a cheery "Good morning" for me. She will be missed greatly.
