Obituary
Tyron Arturo Miles crossed the threshold of time and entered into this world at DMC Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan on January 1, 1976, and made his parents, Charles O. Miles, Jr., and his mother Maria Miles, two of the happiest people in the world because they already had a beautiful daughter, in the person of Charise Miles, and they felt the family was complete when they had their first born son. Tyron's multidimensional journey culminated on Thursday, October 1, 2015.
During his lifetime, spiritual based morals, values, and expectations were instilled in him from his grandparents; Apostle Charles O. Miles, Sr., and his grandmother, Dr. Luvenia Miles, as well as his parents. Tyron's spiritual training, intellectual insights, and commitment to excellence provided immeasurable service to all who were blessed to know him.
He was a 1994 graduate of Ann Arbor Public Schools. He was a part of the Physical Education Coaching Program at Eastern Michigan University. He received his license as a cable installer and utilized these talents for the Army National Guard.
Tyron held various jobs in his lifetime, the latest of which was CSA Agent for Delta Airlines at McNamara Airport in Detroit, Michigan. At one point, he was an Aircraft Fueler. Prior to being elevated to higher position, he served as a Baggage Handler and Ramp Operator. He held a position at AT&T as a Service/Premise Technician; he was a Cable System Installer for the United States Army; and also a Materials & Equipment Expeditor for the University of Michigan.
Tyron had great talent even as it related to acting. He starred in two major movies - "Anything is Possible" which reached worldwide acclaim; and "Silent No More," both of which his Uncle Marvin Miles was Executive Producer. He also has a starring role in the popular stage play entitled "I Should Have Listened." In addition to his acting ability, Tyron was a extremely talented vocalist. He loved Basketball, and worked with the Hoop Phi Hoop Program dealing with the youth. He had a sense of humor that was contagious, which made him the life of any party. His family members described him a being "the light of our lives." In his private time he was an emotional, sensitive, and compassionate person; he could feel others' pain and even though he was macho he would cry in a minute. He loves his alone time but he made people laugh better than any comedian that you ever met. He was a very consistent person, not the type of person that loved you today and talked about you the next. If he was you friend, you knew that you had a real devoted friend.
Tyron leaves to cherish his memory, his loving memory, Maria Miles, and his devoted father Charles O. Miles, Jr. Heartbroken also, are his two grandmothers, Dr. Luvenia Miles and Ms. Crystal Clark. To cherish his memory, he also leaves two beautiful daughters, Imani and Aisha as well as a devoted and loving sister in the person of Charise Miles, as well as other siblings that were dear to his heart in the person of James & Jerold Hicks (TuTu),Charde" Miles, Ashley, Amesha, & Alyssa Miles (Molly Vaughn), Marcus Miles and Preston Miles. He also leaves to cherish his memory, uncles Chris Miles (Gernell), Apostle Prince Miles (Monica), Gary Miles (Karla), Rev. Marvin N. Miles (Carolyn), and others that were close to his heart, including his two godmothers, Donna Williams, and Shirley Jones, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, co-workers and friends.
