REFLECTIONS OF LIFE

Tyrone Odum was born on November 17, 1966 to the late Elijah Odum and Ruthie B. (Hamilton) Odum. He was called home to our Heavenly Father on July 5, 2025.

Tyrone spent his childhood and young adult years growing up surrounded by his loving family, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents in South Memphis. He was a graduate of Whitehaven High School. He later moved to Martin, TN and then Dresden, TN where he spent most of his adult life. After several years of being away from home, he returned to Memphis to be closer to family. Tyrone was known for his caring spirit, love for family, and always there when family or friends needed a helping hand.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ruthie B. (Hamilton) Odum, father Elijah Odum, grandmother Ola B. Hamilton, and grandfather Dudley Hamilton. He is survived by his loving family: brother Melvin (Dorohty) Hamilton, brother Elijah Odum, Jr., sister Dorothy (Kenneth) Pinkins, brother Patrick Odum, brother Raymond (Jamie) Odum, sister Wendy Davidson, sister Donna Maxwell, sister Lavette McGhee, aunt Mildred Mitchell, aunt Katherine (Joseph) Browley, uncle Henderson (Vanessa) Hamilton, uncle Elton Hamilton, uncle Milton (Renee) Hamilton, aunt Daisy Odum, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
