Not sure what to say?

I knew (and loved) Tula 'a lifetime' ago. Although I hadn't had the pleasure of seeing her in many years, Ashley's comments are so beautiful and perfect, that I felt I had been given the gift of going back in time, if only for a moment, to spend just a few more minutes with Tula. Thank you for that, Ashley. And I am certain that Grandma Tula is so proud of you for remembering the most important things she could ever have taught you.

To the best grandma ever! Everyone that new her loved her. She was so full of love for her family and for everyone that she "adopted" into our family. We will all truley miss her and we know that one day we will see her again. It is hard in a time like this to see what grandma seen, Her mansion over the hill top! I hope that she is drinking her coffee smileing down on all of us. I can not wait until I see you, Nick, Nan and my other grandpa again. I love you grandma and Thank you for showing...

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost one pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

There are no words for the sorrow that fills my heart right now. Thank you mama Smith for loving me and accepting me with open arms into your family. In your final hours on this Earth I made a promise to you and please know that I will do everything in my power to keep it. I love you!

Blessed be....

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I'm a nurse at Nash General and had the privilege of taking care of her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry for the loss of a very special person in my life. I met Tula years ago when she and I worked together every year at the Home Office to "put on" the Boddie Noell Open House every year! What fun we had! She was such a wonderful person and I will always cherish those times we spent together. I rejoice in her time spent on this earth and that I was able to glimpse the joy and wonder of what was Tula.

I too was truly blessed to know Tula at West Edgecombe Rescue Squad. She was/is a truly special lady that will always live in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Our hearts are truly saddened. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Tula and Laura Ann walked through Heaven's gate hand in hand. May God wrap his arms around you and bring you comfort.

She was not just a mother for her children, but a mother to many. A kind, gentle, and loving soul. "A little woman, who left a big footprint" I love you Mom, and I miss you so much.

I was truly blessed to know Mrs. Smith at West Edgecombe Rescue Squad where she served her community faithfully. She was certainly a guiding light to so many of us there. She was an incredible person and I know that I am better for knowing her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
