Mom,
Growing up, we spent many hours together working in the yard, moving one flower bed or another. Sometimes it seemed that I had to dig one where just the previous year you had me take it out. I look back on those quiet times together and they are some of my most fond memories.
I loved our travels together like our trip to Vegas when you hit it big at the $1 slots! You taught me that is okay to stand up for yourself, but to never look the other way if someone needs help.
