Not sure what to say?

I was on vacation in 1979 and visited Me Kinsey who offered me a second grade position on the spot - I took it and loved every minute with this distinguished humble Principal - He was my mentor !!

Bernard Kinsey, your dad had to be some kind of a man. I know he's in heaven watching your work and seeing how you are continuing his legacy, by helping so many students. God Bless you and continued success.

I just drove by what used to be my elementary school. I was reminded of the stoic principal who taught this little white girl respect, dignity, manners, and honor. Thank you Mr. Kinsey for making Palmview Elementary my safe place to learn. There just aren't principals like you anymore. With love and admiration,
Becky Peregoy-Mitchell
student from 1978-1981

To The Kinsey Family
I want to express my condolence. I was a student of Kinsey back in the 8o's. I have fond memories of him. Take comfort in knowing he was a great man.

Wow! I had know idea that Mr. Kinsey had died. It was my brother, Rashard Jackson, that wrote him that note that he kept in his scrapbook back when we were in the 4th and 5th grade. Mr. Kinsey was the man. His demeanor was so strong, wise, and quiet. I can remember him walking into the lunchroom and how the hush of the kids would be so loud. He was a good man. [email protected]

You remain in my heart and memories for all the good you did and represented. It's really tough without you here to listen, to empathize and show your concern for our well-being. I think of you all the time for you were and still are so much a part of who I am and have become. Your examples were indelible and for this and so much more I...
