Not sure what to say?

Thank you to everyone and the love will continue to be extended out to you. Dad was my fishing buddy. There is so much that I can express and say, but I think everyone has said it all. From the time of the phone call until my family and I had to leave on the plane to fly back to San Antonio TX was the longest week of my life. BUT, all of the good days with Dad outweighed that long week. I'll see him again one day and we'll be fishing again.

I love you and will miss you Dad.

To the Scott family & relatives.

You have my deepest sympathy to carry with you during this time of great loss.

My name is Otis, and Scottie was my person barber for the past 15 years.
When I got the news that he had died, I lost my breath, and had to take a minute or two to collect myself.

He was a special person to be sure. a man who came to mean so such to so many. When I came into the barber shop, I'd always looked forwarded to leaving with much...

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalms 30:5

To the Scott family, I was saddened to hear of your loss. Ulysses (Scotty) was a neighbor and dear family friend, we all lived on Oak Street, in Jersey City. He was always a friendly kind person. He was my sons first barber and continued to cut their hair for years.
When the lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange.
Hold on to your memories, and let them guide you...

In the mid eighties I met Lavetta Scott at graduate school at Emory University. From that meeting I came to know Mr. and Mrs. Scott and their lovely children. I remember Mr. Scott accepting me as a member of the family.
My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with Mrs. Scott, Marty, Felicia and my great friend Lavetta!

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

My condolences to the Scott Family. While I did not know "Scotty", as a little child, I lived next door to Rachel Lee and Zack and along with my sisblings, we played with Delores mainly as she was our age. In fact our families said we were "kin". On behalf of my brother Lorenzo (Ren) and sister LaVonne (Leen), we send our deepest sympathy.

I grew up in J.C and lived right next door to the Scott family! They always treated me like family and always welcomed me into their home with open arms! Mr. Scott was a very giving and kind hearted man who loved children! He will certainly be missed! My deepest sympathy goes out to the Scott Family! Felicia Watkins-James (Ewing, Nj)

To the Scott family, Jersey City has lost a honored pillar of our community. Please know that he has left a legacy that transcended multiple generations. Belmont Ave now has him as angel as he continues to watch over us. My deepest condolences to Lavetta and family.
