Father Reichlin and I had a great relationship. I did plumbing for him at his Avon Lake residence and also at St. Vincent de Paul Church,
He was a great priest andI will miss him.

I remember the first time I met Fr. Reichlin in 1972. We had just moved from Calif,and I had been attending mass at St. Mel's on Triskett. When I went to sign up, they sent me to St, Vincent's. To make a long story short, when I went to register, Fr. Reichlin was very stern with me for going to the wrong church. Then he gave me a lecture about being active, He was a great priest and I learned to love and respect his ways, May he rest in eternal peace.

In 1939 I was in the seventh grade of St. Rose's School. I well remember the coming of Father Reichlin to our school. He was replacing a well loved "Irish" priest, Father McNally. The sisters of St. Joseph who taught at St. Roses were upset to lose Fr. McNally and to be getting a "foreign" priest, then thought as a German. But Fr. Reichlin proved to be a great priest and guy while serving at St. Roses. I was in the graduating class of 1940 and our class picture has the pastor, Msgr. P.J....
