Only today, Sept. 17 2019, I have learned through friends in Switzerland that Urs is no longer with us on this earth.

This is a real family tragedy. First his then wife Brigitte in 2010 and now Urs. As the saying goes, only the truly good die young.

I remember Urs as a Multi-Talent and as a Swiss Master Chocolatier When he and Brigitte immigrated from Switzerland, He built his own house in New Hampshire. But even more importantly, he single-handedly built up the LINDT Chocolate empire in the USA....

Urs will be missed. I always enjoyed seeing him at work and chatting with him when we had a moment. He was a sweet and funny man.

My condolences and prayers to you and your family, Lucia. Urs was taken from all of you much too soon.

I am so saddened to learn of Urs' passing. Way too young. I had known him for over 20 years in his work at Lindt and my role as a supplier for a Swiss based company. I enjoyed his straight-forward candor, his humor and honesty, and had great respect for his professional competence. He was a very good man and I'm sorry for this news.

It was with great dismay that we learned of the surprising death of Urs. We had a very friendly relationship with Urs for more than 20 years that went far beyond business issues. The cooperation has always been based on great mutual trust and respect. Urs has always been passionate and committed to his goals. He had an uncomplicated nature, even in difficult situations. We will miss Urs painfully.
