Not sure what to say?

Nancy, I will never forget the extremely friendly nature of Uwe whenever I would access Crooked Lake through your yard. He was just so generous and you both made for some memories I will always cherish. I still miss those days. Thank you Uwe and Nancy. Aaron Aureli

Nancy, I am so very sorry to learn of Uwe's passing. To say that he was quite a character would truly be an understatement. I first met Uwe when we both worked at Upstate Medical Center. When I asked for permission to come down and go fishing on your beautiful Crooked Lake, you both were so kind to say "Come down anytime." Like Jim Aureli and his son Aaron, my son Greg and I also enjoyed many hours of quality bass fishing time together and we'll always have those memories of the time we spent...

Nancy: So sorry to hear of Uwe's passing. Nothing but great memories, especially all of the weekend trips whether to Mt. Tremblant, Vermont and week long ski trips out West or Europe . I never knew about Uwe's early childhood. Nice it could be shared. Condolences to you and your family.

Nancy and Karen: it has been a long time, but I remember you all very well. So sorry to hear about Uwe´s passing. He was a special guy.

Dear Nancy and family, So sorry to hear of Uwe´s passing. We have many fun memories of skiing with you and Uwe with the Ski Hawks at Song Mountain, Aspen and many bus trips. Rest in peace Uwe. Our thoughts are with you. Marilyn and Dean Taylor

Nancy and family, I'm very sorry for your loss. I worked at Mr Tops in Fairmount during the 80's. Uwe always had a strong presence about him with a kind, and humble heart. Hoping you find peace in the rich life of family and friendship he lived out everyday. Sincerely, Amy Smith

One of my first jobs was working at Mr. Tops in Shoppingtown and also Penn Can. Uwe was a great guy to work for. I still refer to him as one of the greatest employers I ever had. So sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Uva was a wonderful guy, for years he and his wife Nancy allowed my young son and I to use their property as access to Crooked Lake for fishing. Those moments are among the best memories of our life.We are forever grateful for their kindness.

Uwe... What a personality! I am so sorry for Nancy, Karen and family. Your losses are many. Know that his love goes on within and around you, he is with you. Hugs to you from a distance.
