Doris organized our Thursday lunches at Ponderosa where we got together for lots of laughs and good times.. He was a wonderful man and very concerned about the welfare of others..He called me "the Blonde Bomber" he was a sweetheart...and will be missed .

I am so sorry to hear about Uwe - my deepest sympathies go out to you. I knew him through my mother, Doris Stewart. He was quite a character. I thought it was cute that he made up nick names for everybody he knew. I was "little girl" to him. He enjoyed sailing with me and my friends. He was a wonderful man and will be missed.

I was able to meet Uwe unfortuntly during his last week.Even on difficult days for him he was so polite and enjoyed his visitors alot.I will always remember him as such a kind man. My Deepest sympathy to his family.
