A great memory is that at Vada's Sister Carmen New Volunteer Orientation, I was able to say that a 92-year-old mother and daughter team and 13-year-old daughter and mother team were in attendance. Veda was a delightful warm and kind human who reminded me of my mother with her sweet smile, styled hair and fabulously dressed. Dana was always ready to deliver a joke or a funny comeback. Vada was, and is, a most exemplary person in every way, and her loving nature and wisdom will be greatly missed, I know, by all who knew her well. I had a relatively close association with her for 9 years of my life. What I remember the most were her impeccable manners and the meticulous way she kept the family homes in both Cadillac and Florida.
