I did not have the privilege of knowing Vada directly. But, through my friend Brenda Tucker, I was kept aware of his progress throughout his ordeal. I came to respect and felt much compassion for Vada and his family for his tremendous commitment to life. May God bless his family, friends and coworkers and help them adjust to Vada's transition.
