Not sure what to say?

I may be late to the game, but I have fond memories of Vahan and of Monica. Two extraordinary people who briefly touched my life and left an impression. One of my favorite cartoons was the "Hi, Jack!" depicting a guy getting dragged from a plane after greeting a friend. Vahan had a unique sense of finding humor in everyday interactions. Sending belated condolences to Monica and his family.

Our love to Aunt Monie, Nan and Tom xoxo

where did
eternity

what

on this
fragile soil?
might we
spin off
into
irretrievable
stardust?

if he

he drew
me a life
worth
living.
gave me
the courage
to go forth.

I had the great pleasure of publishing many of Vahan's cartoons while I was an editor at Highlights for Children. He was truly a genius. I'd never known until now that we'd been born in the same town! All best wishes to the family.

We will miss this talented man! Vahan has made millions of children laugh with the many cartoons he has had published in Highlights. Our thoughts, prayers, and good wishes to his family.

What a wonderful person Vahan was. All the wonderful memories I hear from the family are truly wonderful. My heart is with all of you. And my cards that he made me and my son Jt I will cherish forever. All my love. Mellisa
