Not sure what to say?

to the randle family i send my deepest sympathies. i work with scott at fedex and he was so supportive this passed summer when we experienced our own loss. scott, i know how you feel! hang in there, time and faith are your allies.

Jolaine,
I am so sorry to hear of Val's passing--just at a time when the two of you were enjoying the fruits of all those years in the trenches. May I add my prayers and best wishes.

Jolaine,

I was so shocked to hear of Val's passing.

Dad had told me that Val was having knee surgery while we were on vacation. When we got home on Thursday, the first thing my husband, Dave, said was did you hear about Val Randall.

You and Val helped our family so much when Mom was sick. I know it really helped Mom to know you would be there every week. We will all miss him greatly.

It doesn't help the empty arms but you can always...

Dear Jolaine, Kristin, & Family,

My heart & prayers are with you today, I wish I could be there to give you all a big hug. I literally grew up with you & Val, especially through all the YW years, camps, and youth conferences. Val had a big impact on my life--what a great bishop! He was always interested in what was going on. He also took great care of my parents as well, and I know they love him too. Know that our prayers will be with you in the coming weeks ahead.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Randall family for their loss of a wonderful person.

There was never a time I didn't see Val with a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed.

Our prayers are with you.

God Bless

From Val's friends at Valley Oil

Dear Jolaine and Family,

I was so shocked when I was told of Val's passing. Immediately, it seemed, a flood of memories came rushing: his laugh that came from somewhere deep inside, his greeting in church ("Hey Theodore!"), and his razzing when you had a nice fall while waterskiing. I can still see him as 2nd Counselor, in the Bishop's office sitting back so his chair stood on only two legs. So relaxed and friendly. You have every reason to be proud of your husband and father....

The "V" on the mountain is for Val.

Jolaine - I just need to tell you once again just how much I love you guys and how I love Val. I really appreciate his tender care over my folks as their home teacher and good, dear, friend. He has always been so cute to me and my family, especially my husband, Eric. Val has been a part of our family for as long as I can remember and he will be greatly missed by all of us. I can't imagine anyone needing him more than all of us did, but this is when we must reach into our souls and trust that...
