Val was born on February 13, 1924 and passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Val was a resident of Missouri at the time of passing. He attended Francis Howell High School in St. Charles County. He entered the United States Army and served in the Occupation Army in Japan and the Military Police Quartermaster and Technical Intelligence Units. Val was married to Bettie. Graveside services with full military honors will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at East Lawn Memorial Park in Mexico. Visitation will be held from 1:00 ? 1:45 PM Saturday at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Red Cross or the SSM St. Mary?s Hospital Audrain Auxiliary in care of Arnold Funeral Home 425 S. Jefferson Mexico MO 65265.

We are so sad to hear about the passing of Val. We always enjoyed seeing him and visiting with him. He was great friends with our father and mother (John and Katie Freeman).
