Very sad to hear this. Larry blew by me in a 5k in Bay Port in 2014...we had a good rivalry for a couple of years.

Heartfelt sympathy to the Kanaby family, so sorry to hear of your loss. It has been a while since our paths met, but Larry was always kind, encouraging and ready with his great smile. Fond memories of times on the ski trails and Rushford’s Rhodes race will remain in our hearts.

I am so sorry to the entire Kanaby clan at the loss of such a fine man. LJ was a fine craftsman and although my house is full of Kanaby Builders' exceptional work, I valued Larry's friendship and kindness even more! I loved when he was at the race!! All would hear words of encouragement and see a smile as he took off to the front!! He continued to be a strong warrior as he fought this horrible cancer... He IS in heaven probably running fast 1500s and racing Trev and Mark.... or maybe...
