Not sure what to say?

In the early 70s I had severe Medical problems that required me to be hospitals for an extended time. My FP brought in Dr Mersol to see me at the hospital I was at as a consultant. He not only helped me medically, he was the most compassionate and down to earth Physician I ever had. Where no other physician was able to figure out my problem, he came into my room and after a brief exam, told me exactly what the problem was and how he was going to treat me! I am so sorry to hear about his...

Not only was Dr. Mersol my ENT, he was my friend. I so enjoyed our conversations about the books we had read.

Val Mersol was my friend and colleague at St. Vincent Charity Hospital for many years. He not only earned my admiration as a fine ENT surgeon but also as a kind and sincere human being. He will be sorely missed in the medical professional and by all those whose lives he touched.
My deepest and sincerest sympathy to his loving family.

Dr.Val was a classmate and good friend of mine at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine ,class of 1959 and later in Cleveland.I am sorry for his loss and to his family .Dr.Robert and Mary Clare Porter,Hunting Valley,Ohio and Marco Island,Florida

Dr. Mersol was truly in a class by himself, distinguished not only by his exceptional intelligence, but by his respect for his...
