Not sure what to say?

I only had the opportunity to speak with Rev. Derr a few times. I met him as my father is also a resident in the West Shore Health and Rehab Alzheimer’s Unit. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

PASTOR DERR WAS A TRUE WARRIOR OF THE CROSS. HE HAS ONE THE VICTRY. HE IS NOW ON THE OTHER SIDE PRAISING WITH THE SAINTS

Pastor Derr was a great pastor and friend and will be greatly missed. Its sad to see him go but the lord needs him in heaven now.He now has his final reward. May god bless you Emma for you just lost a great man of God.

DEAREST EMMA AND FAMILY
I WAS VERY SADDENED TO HEAR OF PASTOR VALS PASSING... YOU BOTH HAVE SHOWN NOTHING BUT CARING AND LOVE TOWARDS EVERYONE, WITHOUT JUDGEMENT. THE SUPPORT I RECEIVED FROM PASTOR VAL AND YOU EMMA THRU THE YEARS HAS BEEN A VITAL PART OF MY CONTIUED GROWTH IN OUR SAVIOR.
PLEASE KNOW MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AT THIS MOST DIFFICULT TIME

We are friends of Mr. Derr's son, Stan, who has always spoken proudly and lovingly of his father, as a man who worked hard his entire life. He was a true patriot and a man of God. We will remember his family in our prayers at this sad time.

Dear family of Valentine,
I was raised in Mechanicsburg First Church of God. I remember Valentine. He was a fine Christian man and minister. I came to Findlay in 1956 to Findlay College and stayed here. My wife Naomi and I are members of College First Church of God in Findlay. You have our sympathy and we will keep you all in our prayers.
