I was a supervisor at Genetti's Best Western in Wilkes Barre many years ago. I have fond memories of Val and I enjoyed our many conversations about the hotel. She was a lovely and compassionate person and always treated me with respect. She was a go-getter and always wanted things done right. Val, may you fly high on angels' wings. ...

Maria, my heart goes out to you and your family at this most difficult time. Your mom sounds like an amazing woman. She obviously was a wonderful mother because she raised you and you are an outstanding human. May you be comforted by your many memories of her and how she lives on in you & your siblings and all the grands. Keep those stories about her going by telling them as often as possible. I remember management trips to the shore the last weekend in June. Mrs. G was so thoughtful and generous and made us all feel so welcome. She is a true lady and her wonderful spirit lives on in her beautiful family.

Maureen and I were very sorry to learn that Val had passed away. She and I served as Eucharistic Ministers at St Therese. Our children went to school together. I walked past the Genetti home every day for many years. Gus and family our prayers and thoughts for Val. May she Rest In Peace.
