I am so sorry to hear of Valerian's passing. We were friends in high school at North Carolina School of Arts. I always remember him with a smile. He was funny, kind, warm and caring. There are no words to express how much "Peppah" meant to me! With adoration; I remember when first meeting him how he proudly (reeking of a confident smile) introduced himself as "Valerian Edward Butler-Smith,III but, You can call me Peppah!" His genuine spirit made any and all people who we´re fortunate enough to be in his presence embrace a smile at the sheer tone of his voice! His love for "HIS MOTHER ,SISTERS, and family were evidenced throughout his conversations and life experiences....

I remember when we did an auction at work and Peppah was there full of life and direction. I remember we had a dance together. He was and amazing person

Family: Peppah interned at City National Bank at the time I Worked there and I remember him as a very nice humble young man. Also from his grandparents home when my parents lived on Terrace Street (The Collins Family) .Rest In Peace Peppah .Take Your Well -Earned Rest.
