Valerie and my mom were nurses together at the hospital on the Brain Injury unit. When I was in a car accident and ended up on their floor. Between Valerie, my mom, the other nurses on the unit, and my family I returned home with a lot of goals to achieve. I wrote this poem for Valerie a couple years ago. Val was a special person with her Caring and Understanding....

I am very saddened to hear of the loss of Valerie. I went to nursing school with her. She was very kind hearted to everyone. I was fortunate to cross paths with her in 2007. She was just as warm and kind as always. She will be deeply missed.

My Beloved Niece Val
May you find comfort now in the arms of God. You are finally at peace. I will miss you so very much forgive me for not being able to help more. May your beautiful family know that you were a very special and kind person with so much to give. You were so helful to me when Uncle Harold was ill take care and be with all of them in Heaven.
