To Valerie's family. Hope her memories are of all the good ones. This reminder came on Marie Nibet's email, and it was fun to see she had posted to you a couple of times in memory of their friendship. Marie Passed away March 1, 2022. I bet the two of them are visiting like they've never been apart!! Take care.

Dear Family,

You are going to ask to have me locked up. I just could not believe it had been so long since I saw Val. I checked all my old Calendars and it was in 2007. She looked great and we had a wonderful afternoon together. This is crazy but I had to clear this up. Am I nuts? Marie Nisbet

Dear family of Valerie,
Valerie and I were friends and playmates in the late 30's and early 40's when I lived at 1161 Hillside Ave. I moved away when my Mother died in 1942. We kept contact over the years and saw each other 4 or 5 times, most recently about 3 years ago when my husband and I were traveling back East. I live in Seattle, Wa. That visit was great as she shared memories with me that I did not have as I was a couple of years younger than she was. I did not get her card...

Valerie was a true lady and great converstionalist. She had fascinating topics and was always interested in others. And didn't she always look great? A real Plainfield treasure. I'll never forget her.
