Not sure what to say?

Valerie had the most incredible laugh and smile! We were both Army brats! She understood things differently. She, her Dad, and brother Keith would bag groceries on Saturday´s at the New Cumberland Army Depot commissary. It was great money and we were hustling! I miss her.

She was a remarkable woman. Always had a smile to give someone. Gonna miss her dearly.

Val and I attending both high school and college together and although we were not close, we were friendly when we ran into each other. It appears she devoted her life to helping others - a life well-lived. I wish her peace and comfort in the "next stage" of life. Although she is gone, we cannot forget her and all that she did and believed in. Until we run into each other again Val.....

Such a beautiful lady. Condolences to all.

Val was involved in many big, important, worthy causes in her work and in her many volunteer endeavors, but she also had time and a huge heart for individuals! For example, Val faithfully supported one of her Caring Place volunteers with love, friendship and kindness as he died of ALS. It was a long, three-year journey, but Val was still there encouraging Jeff the night before he died. Val was such a good friend to him and to me, his wife. I could see Jesus in her! Val will be missed deeply...

Val was certainly the most caring person I have ever met. She just didn't talk, she walked the walk. She was an inspiration to all those she met. I had the honor of volunteering at the Highmark Caring Place while she was our coordinator there. Rest in peace beautiful lady. Sing with the angels.

God bless your family, Val. You were extra-special. I know you heard, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

I so enjoyed Val´s input while doing a faith study recently. Her comments and questions were full of depth and wisdom. Praying for all of the family and friends.

Val was a great neighbor whose friendly smiles and hellos will be missed by many.
