Not sure what to say?

(From a dedication at the Mother Goose Guild Christmas Tree Brunch, December, 2022) It is with a heavy heart that we honor the memory of one of our longest and truly dedicated members, Valerie Lawler who passed away March 10, 2021. Valerie joined the Mother Goose Guild in 1976, and was a very active member for 45 years. She decorated a tree for the Brunch as far back as we can remember, with her last tree being raffled in 2019. She always enlisted the help of long time friends and...

I knew Valerie when her husband was on staff at Anaheim Memorial Hospital. She was dynamite!! Her energy, caring and sincere concern for other people always showed through and she would always stop in the Out Patient Pharmacy and say hi to me when she was in the building to see her husband. Over 24 yrs ago she gave me a crystal & gold bowl for a wedding present that still has a place in my china cabinet! I am so sorry for your loss and I just want to tell the family that she was always,...

I was a Champaign High School class of 1960 classmate of Valeries. I remember her as a real ball of energy. Very talented, very very nice and a go getter. I’m sorry to learn of her death and my prayers and thoughts are with her family.

We remember Val from the apartment in Beaverton when we first met and were in training at U. of Oregon. She was always busy and active and afterward we stayed in touch both of us moving ultimately to Southern California. Our daughter Claudine and Patrick married making us in-laws and we are grateful that Valerie and Bill were able to share a family Christmas with us in 2019 which she seemed to thoroughly enjoy.
She will be missed by the family and by her many friends, a gap which will...

Valerie was a caring person who's family was the center of her life. We will miss her.

Valerie was the most kind and generous person I've had the pleasure of knowing these 46 years. She especially enjoyed holidays when she always gave gifts to friends and family . Her thoughtfulness knew no bounds. She was the ultimate example of how to care for a husband and
family. A good Christian who will be sorely missed!
