Val and Lee were my neighbors for several years and their kindness and empathy had a lasting impact on me. She was calm, strong, funny and brimming with love (and patience!), all at the same time. I feel lucky to have known her. Sincere condolences to the entire family.

Val was a wonderful lady who always made me feel welcome. The times I visited to see my Maggie & John, Val made me part of the family. She also helped me through times of healing and I will always be grateful and remember her for that. She has left a footprint on so many lives and will always be loved and remembered. Sending Jane, Dave, Peter, Maggie, John and all the rest of the family love and strength during this time and the healing time that follows. All my love always Jenny
