Not sure what to say?

She was my professor in 1976; a very intelligent lady

I will miss seeing Valerie at this fall's Lone Mountain reunion! She was such an enthusiastic and loyal supporter, a truly gracious and amazing woman. May she rest in peace. Polly McMullen, Lone Mountain class of 1968.

Could this possibly be the same lady I spent time with in London? Such a sweetheart. So gutsy to travel overseas and be willing to mentor and spend time with college students. She was amazing! I feel lucky and honored to have spent time with her. Her family lost a wonderful matriarch. Such a kind soul. May her memory be eternal. If I come across those old photos I will come back here and post them.

I said on the phone to a friend the other day that I will be praying To Valerie rather than For her. We all meet one or two saints during the years we spend here on earth and I am so pleased that this saintly woman was part of my life.

Mrs. Meehan was a loving and devoted mother. She was also the pillar of our block growing up. Many times when my mom had to work late I would stay for a few hours and hang out with her family, my childhood friends. I was lucky to be able to see and visit with her last year. You were an amazing lady.

Easiest person to love, beautiful service. Love, prayers and thanks to all. 0x, Kaaren + Family

Our sympathies go out to Valerie's family. She was a wonderful woman. We enjoyed knowing her and hearing her stories of traveling the world, helping others.

Heartfelt condolences to the Meehan family. Fun memory taking my dad,George Dobie and Valerie to the old Cobb´s Comedy Club to see Michael perform. My dad loved all his loyal Meehan paper boys .Take good care of one anotherAmazing family
