I met Val at MTC; we always sat together in labs and lectures. I felt as if I had known her my entire life because that's just how Val was. She had a special way with people and for her, it was effortless. We were both single moms and her greatest joy was her children--she did the college, hard work and unrelenting prayers, all for them. Prayers, love and positive thoughts for all who lived her.
