Not sure what to say?

Now, ten years after Mom passed away, she´d like to know that this Christmas her children have been reliving memories of growing up together; the foods we liked (and disliked), the events that struck each of us in different ways, sometimes dramatically, and our appreciation of the privileges we enjoyed. RIP to you both, Mom and Dad.

To the tews
So sorry to hear about your loss my prayers are with all of you.

Sorry for being tardy in passing on our sympathy for the loss of Val. She was not only a good friend to my late mother Ginny Sweeny, but was on "Altar Guild" duty at St. Peter's during our wedding there in 1981. If it wasn't for her giving the final nudge to my wife at the back of the sanctuary I'm not sure she would made it up the aisle.

We last spent time with Val this past summer where we took her to the Cape Cinema and dinner...one of our favorite Cape outings....she was great...

We are so sorry to learn of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

What a fantastically full life, well-lived! She was a role model and inspiration to many. Glad I got to meet her. Very sorry for your loss, Laur, and family.

To the Tews,

My apologies for not knowing how to reach out to any of you personally!

Your parents were great friends of our parents for decades! I don't think a summer passed on Cape Cod where Val wasn't a guest of my parents at the dinner table.

And yes, she was very witty and a superb conversationalist. My dad would always ask me who I would like to see on the Cape when I visited, and " Val " was always the first word from my lips!

She was very kind and...

May you rest in peace.

I was not only blessed to have known Val' but honoured to have had the chance to lay my hands on her with my massage work...such a stoic, strong yet kind and humble woman,,now I see where Laur gets her best atributes,,,I have been blessed to have known her in my life,,,rest in sweet everlasting peace.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
