Not sure what to say?

Van was amazing, in every way that counts. As a friend, a dad, and husband. Van carried himself as a gentleman, in Moscow or Prague, Paris or LA, with vaclav havel or a guy on the street, you only met one Van, the true honest soul of the man. Van trusted you, you could trust Van, very simple, very rare.
If you met or worked with Van, you miss him.

I also had the pleasure of working with Van @CBS TV City on "Win, Lose or Draw" and traveling with him on the show. So much fun to be around and an amazing sense of humor! Condolences to Mary, Ruby and Max for your loss. Love, Kevin Belliotti

Van worked with me at CBS television city for several years. He was one of my favorite people I have met over the years. Travelling to NYC for "Win Lose or Draw" I had a fantastic time with him discussing our families our lives and many other things. My condolences to his family Mary, Ruby and if I remember correctly Max. Heart felt sympathies for your loss, Love, Tracy Lawrence [email protected]

I knew Van from our days at KCBS-TV and Two On The Town , where he was a cameraman and I was a production secretary. I remember him as thoughtful and kind, interested in mentoring young people, and as a very loving father. My sincerest condolences to his family on their loss. God bless.
