To Faye, Cecelia, Carolyn and all of the family: we are shocked and deeply sadden by the death of Van Clair. I went from W.C. Davis to Ullman High with him. I lived in the "condos" (as he called them at our 50th high school reunion)of Southtown Projects with him and the family. Words cannot express our sadness. He will be missed. To Faye, Cecelia, Caroline and all the rest of the family, my thoughts and payers are with you during this time of loss. It was last year, almost to the date, I enjoyed spending time with my cousin in Texas while we celebrated Moms birthday/retirement. He was the life the party. I will miss his insight to the world and intellectual/funny conversations.

Faye so sorry to hear about your loss, Van Clair will be missed by all that passed his way especially the 1961 May Class of Ullman High.

Every since i was a child, i wanted to be like you. I find comfort in remembering the last time we spoke, i told you i loved you. Rest in peace my favorite uncle.
