We are unable to be with you today as you remember and honor Mr. Cochran. Mr. Cochran touched so many of us as we were growing up in the Wellton- Mohawk area. When we lose a loved one it is hard to imagine life without them. It is a good feeling to know that they are in a better place and with loved ones that they have not seen in a long time. We are sure Mr. Cochran and Phyliss have given each other hugs and smiles and are happy to be together again. I am sure he and Van are talking about...

Cochran family you are in my prayers. Your father was very special to me. He accepted me for who I was. John I wish i could be there with you but other obligations keep me away. I know that your father is so happy to be reunited with your mother. Your parents had a special place in my heart. Fond memories overwhelm me as I think of them. God Bless each of you.

There are certain people that come into our lives that make that special indelible mark. Mr. Cochran was that special mark to me. I was in his Ag classes and also participated in FFA at Antelope Union High School in Wellton, Az. He is one of those special people that helped me in ways I am sure he never knew. Thank you again Mr. Cochran for being there for this young boy when no one else was. You will never be forgotten as you have touched my life; as I am sure you have touched other lives as...

I am very sorry I can't make it to the services. Some young men need to look to movies or sports to find someone to look up to, a role model. I just had to look past a big Turquoise ring. Grandpa, you were the definition of a mentor. A strong family patriarch with a tender soul and a razor sharp wit. I'll miss you, but carry your wisdom and life lessons with me until I die. I'm glad you can finally be with Grandma once again and forever.

My sympathies to the family. Van and Phyllis were neighbors once and friends. A lovely family.

I worked with Van and Phyllis at Antelope for many years. One day it was Van's birthday and I made him a dip he really liked. He was so appreciative and by the end of that day he came to the office and brought me a beautiful breadbox he made. I was overwhelmed and use it to this day! Sorry I cannot be there Saturday for his services but know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers!
