Van Herbert Drummond Jr.

I knew Van for many years through my work in hospitality. He was a genuine friend and has been sorely missed by many.

Dear Ernie and Jan, Have been thinking about you a lot during this sad time. You know you are in my heart and prayers. Wish I could see you both.

I grew up with Van. He lived just down the road from me for awhile. In high school he was so much fun because he was always upbeat and cheerful. I never saw him down or sad. He was truly a wonderful person and a joy to be around. I am very sorry for your loss.

Linda, I am so sorry. God love you both. He was a very special person who never saw a stranger and made everyone he met feel special.

Dear Linda,
I am sorry for your lose. Van was a kind and friendly person. I only worked with him a short time while he was with Vista. I enjoyed that time that he was there. He always reminded me of Mel Tillis.

I have know Van all my life. When in High School we spent a great amount of time together. We both worked for Driver's Ed and for Don Unsworth at the haredware store he owned. Most Friday nights, other than football season, you would probably fine us together. Even though we have only seen each other once in the last 25 years I still would consider him as one of my oldest friends. I will miss him terribly.

So sorry to hear about Van. We graduated from West Rome High School together. I have many fond memories of his personality. It's such a shame that we lose touch with friends over the years and this loss makes us realize how precious the times we shared growing up and going to school in good old Rome. My prayers are with you in your time of loss.
