Not sure what to say?

I just heard of Van's passing this weekend at church. I knew Van from Quail Hollow and South Meck. and was on track teams with him. We played in a volleyball league later and I always enjoyed his company. I will miss seeing Van and wish his family well.

I just read of Van's passing. There are people along your journey that make us what we are today. Van was one of those people to me from my Wofford days.

To the family of Van. I just read this obit and am deeply saddened. Although we had grown apart and went our separate ways, he will forever be my buddy as he was while we were at Wofford College. What a great guy he was. So many cherished memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Lovingly,
Jerry Trowell

Van was such a wonderful bridge teacher and friend. He had the patience of Job! He will be truly missed!

Kate, I am so very sorry. In my mind, Van, with that big grin, will always be "Mr Christ Church".
