Having learned of this tragedy on Monday afternoon did not permit me to make the trip from Naples, but please know that I am with you in my heart. Van was always in my heart and will continue to be there. God Bless You all.
With much love and sympathy, Linda.

My prayers and thoughts are with Van's family. I was very sorry to hear of Van's death. I played football with Van at Ensley and he was a good friend. I did see Van at one of the Ensley reunions and enjoyed speaking with him. May his memory be eternal.
