I am VanDale's youngest daughter and again my family thanks everyone for their kind words of support.

We heard my dad brought donuts every Friday to work so last Friday we brought 8 dozen donuts and thank you cards and dvds we made of memories of my dad and of the service. There was a dvd for each of the Honor Guards (Drake, we hope you got your copy and Thank You) there were extra dvd's for people who couldn't make it to the service or who wanted one. You were always a pleasure to be around. You always kept your head up and a smile on your face. We will all miss you.

Van was such a quiet guy, I worked with him since he started at CIM West facility, I spoke to one of your daughter's over the phone, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to sign the guest book but it was a beautiful service, I was with the Honor Guard, six of us from the West Facility were back up pole barrers . I'm the Chief Job Steward at the West Facility for CCPOA if you ever need anything feel free to contact me .
