Not sure what to say?

I am interested in finding out where the VanLear came from if anyone knows. We have done genealogy and found several family members in Baltimore but know of no connection.

Van always brought a smile and a positive thought. So sorry he is gone. Love to Marion.

Hi Marion I just heard about Van and am so sorry. Have been out of touch bought a place in Naples and there. He was such a fine man and I always enjoyed so much our friendship and the time I spent with the 2 of you. I remember years ago midway thru a bridge event and had dinner with Sonye Mauze and Sue George. They were talking about gentle men. I said Van Black and Dolph Bridgewater were the only 2 gentle gentleman I knew. They both agreed. I don´t think my generation produces true...

TRACY , I´M SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR DAD´S PASSING . A TRULY UNIQUE MAN AND A VERY CARING PERSON . ENJOYED WORKING AT THEIR HOME AND WORKING AT YOUR HOME !!! MAY YOUR HEART BE FILLED WITH LOVING MEMORIES !!!!!! YOUR´S TRULY , RON. GLEN ALSPAUGH CO.

Goodbye to a true gentleman, co-worker, and car guy. A life well-lived, indeed.

Our deepest sympathies for all members of the Black family

My deepest condolences. He was one of my favorite people with Enterprise because of his great positive outlook on life and he was always smiling. Just thinking about Van makes me smile with great memories. Dan Decker

Marion, This is sad news but I have wonderful memories of Van. He had a big impact on my career at Enterprise. I loved his wit and sense of humor. So sad it has been so long since I have seen you both. My prayers go out to you and your family. I am so glad you celebrated Van life.......a full life that had such a positive impact on so many of us........God Bless, Ernie
