I will forever remember Vance, from childhood days jumping on the trampoline to our days at NMMI to his years in Roswell practicing medicine and dove hunting with me. I miss him!

Debbie, my full message didn't make it for some reason. Let me say again how much I valued Vance's friendship from childhood, at NMMI, and later in Roswell where he was practicing. The photo of him is wonderful, and I can hear his wonderful laugh as I look at it. I loved that guy! I am sorry i will never get to see him again, but he lives in my memory. I have a photo on my desk of Vance and a few others at an NMMI reunion many years ago. I hope you are well, Debbie. mike carrigan

May his soul rest in peace. We worked together at the hospital in Muskegon for a few years before his retirement. It was a great experience working with him

We were so sorry to hear of Dr. Smith's passing. A mutual friend, Mike Carrigan called tonight and told us. Debbie, I would personally like to thank you for the training you gave me under you tutelage. Dr. Smith was always kind to me as well.
