Not sure what to say?

It's hard to believe that she has been gone for three years. In more recent years, I often ran into her and her husband at Wegman's. I still think of her often when I go to Wegman's. She was such a nice lady.

Please accept my deepest condolences. I have adopted her beloved pet Marty. We love him and he is doing wonderful. God sent Marty to us. May God comfort you.

I was shocked to read of Vanda's passing. She was my father's cousin, and she and Dick had recently attended the funerals of both my parents, my mother's being one year ago. It was good to see them both. Little did I know it was last time I would see Vanda. My family's sincere condolences to a Dick and all the family. I'll miss Vanda's great wit and musical conversations with my father.

My wife and I both have very fond memories of Mrs. Hawk. She was our music teacher at Hampden elementary. We often talked about her and our memories and influence she had on us. I remember her behind the piano, teaching us to sing. Drawing music notes on a chalkboard and probably my most favorite, singing "Waltzing Matilda". Thank you for being a huge part of our childhood and sharing the gift of music with us. Prayers tans love to Mrs. Hawk's family.

I was saddened to read about Mrs. Hawk's passing in today's paper. It seems not long ago that I talked to her at Wegman's. Glad I had that opportunity. She was my second grade music teacher at Northside Elementary school and then my piano teacher while I was in high school. Piano lessons with here were a pleasure. I offer my condolences.

May God bless you all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Tim and Kathy Witters

It was with sadness that I heard of the passing of Vanda. She was a very special friend and Donna and Pat and Clyde and others share those same thoughts.
