My sincere condolences to the entire family. I have seen and reviewed Van's numerous performances in Montgomery over the years. His talents and charm both on and off the stage will be missed.

My husband David went to UAB with Van, and I acted with Van in several shows, both at UAB and at Birmingham Festival Theatre, and I saw him in many more. He was such a wonderful, upbeat person and a fine actor who made every role his own. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to the whole family.
