It is a sad day to learn of the passing of such a wonderful, creative and beautiful person, Vanessa. I met Vanessa through her mother, Myrna, who sang at our church in Southlake. Before long I was on the BOD for the Miss HEB Pageant and met Vanessa for the first time as she competed for the title of Miss Texas. She radiated Gods love and was blessed with a gifted voice. I only spoke to Vanessa a couple of time but each time she was so sweet and I could just see the love in her for God! She was truly a wonderful person and I will miss seeing her at women retreats! I will miss her! My heart and prayers go out to her family as well! BUT we will see her again! and I thank God for the time she was here!
