Not sure what to say?

Varda!

I only just learned of your passing, my friend. How sad I am to hear that your life was cut short. Your love for life, for animals, and for others, had a profound impression on me at the age of 17 and 18! May your legacy live on. What a sense of humor you had!! I still chuckle when I remember your answer to me when, after calling you on the phone back in the early 1980's, and not sure if you were still living in the same place in NYC, I had asked you where you were...

Varda, I loved you like a sister. Will miss you always. Take care and will see you one day.

You will be missed by all of your dog park buddies, Varda - i think about you every day and hope you're doing a lot of laughing up above.

Varda, Your spirit lives on in your pet buddies. I'll never look at another Kitler without thinking of you! Take care of the souls in the "Old Cat Home" for me.
Tina

profoundly saddened by your untimely passing, your uncles Alan and David Margolis.

A sweet very short memory from Varda's aunt Pearl (her Mom's sister) was told to me (Varda's cousin Leslie) many years ago, and because of Varda's death retold to me today...I feel Varda would have taken delight and would have smiled when learning of this:

My Mom (aunt Pearl, now age 88) remembers her younger sister Ruth (Varda's Mom):

"having a very special pet, her mouse, whom she loved very dearly".

Who knows, maybe Varda knew all along!

Bye Varda...thankyou...

Though we never met in person, I will always remember you as a wonderful soul with a beautiful spirit and wit. You made me laugh, and I greatly enjoyed our emails and conversations about our pets. I know yours loved you greatly, and you them. Rest in peace, my friend. You will not be forgotten!

Dear Varda
I know you are happy to see Haley and Lil Bit again. If you see Willie in your travels give him a kiss for me. We all miss you and will remember you always.
Jane

Varda, Bill and I are sorry to hear of your passing.  No one loved life more than you did, and your care for animals could not be matched.  We hope you are with Vanessa, Haley and Lil'Bit and all the pets that came before.  We are so glad to have known you.  Although the cancer attacked your body it did not destroy your spirit.  With love, Sue & Bill
